A Quick 5 Minute Warm-Up For Your Next Home Workout (Standing & No Equipment)
Have you just started working out from home and not sure how to warm-up beforehand? In this post I’m sharing with you a 5 minute, standing warm-up video that you can follow along with before you start your next workout!
Warm-Up Outline
We will do 10 movements, for 30seconds each – all which are performed standing!
- Jog on Spot
- Side to Side Reach
- Shoulder Rolls
- Side Step Jacks
- Standing Core March
- Hip Circles
- Butt Kick Rows
- Squat Punches With Toe Tap
- Step Backs & Reach
- In & Out Jog
Equipment Needed
None for this warm-up – all you need is yourself!

- Feel free to pause the video at point if you need to!
- You can also mute the video & simply follow along visually!
- If you prefer to do these movements without following along with the video eg: you are in the gym, simply bookmark this page so you can refer to the warm-up outline! You can still perform 30 secs of each movement, or if you prefer, you can perform repetitions for some of the exercises instead.
